Description
My fluffy marshmallow of a snuggle bug is just the sweetest little thing. well, he ain’t so little!
I am so proud of this litter, even though it wasn’t supposed to happen. I had not had a chance to have Dad DNA tested or his hips and elbows checked, unfortunately, before this litter was conceived. He was not even a year old yet, and he did this. ?♀️I’ve never had a Great Dane at this young of age be able to figure out what it was doing. So instead of a summer litter, I now have a winter litter.yuk..lol
When I got Dad’s DNA tests back, after he sired this litter, I found out that he carried for merle and harl, which I never would have bred him to this girl if I had known that. He is a gorgeous brindle mantle, which i had been waiting for from this breeder for a couple of years. Momma had eight puppies, and sadly, the first one born, which was nearly solid white, died. I’m kind of glad she didn’t make it because I know that means it was a double merle and could have potentially had vision and auditory issues. However, I do have two male pups that are double merle. One is predominantly white with a few merle patches, and the other is all white with a couple of tiny spots. If they come back testing with hearing or vision impaired, I will be offering them at an extremely lowered price.
Both parents are AKC registered. Both came back with a clear Wisdom DNA panel. Mom was prelim tested on hips with a fair result and elbows unaffected report from OFA. My vet seemed to think she would score better at two.
I’m in Oroville, WA, and do offer meetings part way or deliveries for a fee. Or, you are welcome to come pick up in person. Winter schedules make delivery a little more expensive, and we have to watch the weather closely.
I don’t plan to register the litter as most new owners do not care for them. However, I will have a strict spay/neuter contract in place. If a new owner wishes to have papers, I will happily do that for an added fee.
I’m going to price my two girls at 1200
And the three heavily marked Harlequin boys at 1000. If the white/merle boys are unaffected, they will also be at this price. But, if they have special needs, I will ask 500 or maybe a little less to cover their vaccines, microchip, vet care, and regular cost of raising a puppy.
Let me know if you have further questions as I would be happy to answer them!!
Happy New Year
Stefanie
