older male needs calm home in Port Angeles, Washington

Description

9 year old pup needs a home on the calmer side. Loves women, doesn’t like strange men, needs time to get to trust them. Doesn’t do well with other dogs inside the home. Is ok with other dogs outside the home (keep playtime around 15-20 minutes, he tires of other dogs after that and will get moody) is ok with other pets. will chase cats but not aggressive. Loves playing with ferrets. Listens well. Comes when you whistle. Loves children but as he gets older has much less patients with them and will try to get away from them if they play too rough. Doesn’t bark much at all. if he does bark it’s just a few times. No health issues other than allergies to potatoes and peas. Only toy he plays with these days are enrichment toys (kongs, ect.) Loves car rides to petco or home depot or any store that will allow dogs. Great loving companion. Loves to sleep in between legs.
